Terms of Service

Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using FrameLab (“FrameLab,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use FrameLab.

License

Subject to these Terms and any applicable subscription or license requirements, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to access and use FrameLab for personal or commercial purposes.

Your license permits you to use FrameLab and its features but does not transfer ownership of FrameLab, its software, branding, or other proprietary materials to you.

What Your License Includes

FrameLab is sold as a one-time purchase, not a subscription. The terms that apply to your license are the ones shown on the product page at the time of your purchase. Those terms are currently:

  • Perpetual use. Your license does not expire. You may keep using the versions you are entitled to for as long as you wish, including after your update period ends.
  • Device activations. Each license may be active on a set number of devices at a time. Reinstalling on a device you have already activated does not use another activation, and you can deactivate a device from your dashboard at any time to free it for another machine.
  • Updates. Your purchase includes every version we release in the update period following it, at no additional cost. When that period ends, the most recent version you were entitled to remains yours to use permanently; later releases are not included.

We may suspend or revoke a license where a payment is reversed or charged back, or where these Terms are materially breached. See Termination below.

Your Content

FrameLab may allow you to create, upload, organize, annotate, or otherwise work with content.

You retain ownership of content you create or provide through FrameLab. You are responsible for ensuring that you have the necessary rights or permissions to use any content you upload, import, or otherwise provide to the service.

You agree not to use FrameLab to reproduce, distribute, or otherwise use copyrighted or proprietary material in a manner that violates applicable law or the rights of others.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Redistribute, resell, sublicense, or commercially provide access to FrameLab itself without our written permission.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code of FrameLab except where such restrictions are prohibited by applicable law.
  • Remove, obscure, or alter proprietary notices, trademarks, or other identifying information associated with FrameLab.
  • Use FrameLab for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or unauthorized purposes.
  • Attempt to interfere with, disrupt, compromise, or circumvent the security, licensing, authentication, or operation of FrameLab or its associated services.
  • Use FrameLab in a manner that infringes the intellectual property or other legal rights of another person or organization.

Purchases, Trials, and Payments

Using FrameLab beyond a trial requires a license, which is bought once. There is no subscription, no recurring charge, and nothing to cancel: we charge your payment method a single time, at the price shown on the product page, and we do not store your card details. Payments are processed by Stripe under its own terms.

Prices are shown in the currency stated on the product page. Any sales tax or VAT that applies is calculated at checkout and shown before you pay.

Trials. A trial requires no payment method and expires on the date shown when it is issued. It does not convert into a purchase and cannot result in a charge. When a trial expires the application stops activating and updating; buying a license restores access.

30-day refund guarantee. If FrameLab is not right for you, email us within 30 days of your purchase and we will refund it in full. You do not need to give a reason. Refunds are returned to the payment method you bought with, and usually reach it within five to ten business days depending on your bank.

When a purchase is refunded, the license issued with it is revoked: any activated devices are deactivated and the application stops working. Please uninstall any copies you have installed.

Nothing here affects refund or cancellation rights you have under the consumer law of the country you buy from, which apply regardless of what this section says.

If a payment is reversed or charged back after a license has been issued, we may suspend or revoke that license.

Updates and Modifications

We may update FrameLab from time to time to introduce new features, improve existing functionality, address security issues, fix bugs, or improve performance.

Because FrameLab will continue to evolve, features may be added, changed, replaced, or discontinued. Where appropriate, we will provide reasonable notice of material changes that significantly affect your use of the service.

Availability

We aim to provide a reliable service, but we do not guarantee that FrameLab or any particular feature will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

Access may occasionally be interrupted for maintenance, updates, technical problems, security reasons, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Intellectual Property

FrameLab, including its software, interface, branding, design, documentation, and other materials we provide, is owned by or licensed to us and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Except for the limited license granted under these Terms, no rights to FrameLab or our intellectual property are transferred to you.

Third-Party Services

FrameLab may integrate with or rely upon third-party services, platforms, payment processors, or other technologies.

Your use of those services may be subject to separate terms and privacy policies established by their respective providers. We are not responsible for the availability, operation, or content of third-party services outside our control.

Disclaimer of Warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, FrameLab is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise.

We do not warrant that FrameLab will be uninterrupted, error-free, completely secure, or free from harmful components, or that it will meet every user's particular requirements.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we and our owners, employees, contractors, affiliates, and service providers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your access to or use of FrameLab.

This includes, without limitation, loss of data, revenue, profits, business opportunities, or other intangible losses resulting from the use of or inability to use FrameLab.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law.

Termination

You may stop using FrameLab at any time.

We may suspend or terminate access to FrameLab if you materially violate these Terms, misuse the service, interfere with its operation or security, or use it in a manner that creates legal or security risks for us or others.

Upon termination, your right to use FrameLab under these Terms ends.

Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms from time to time as FrameLab and our services evolve.

If we make material changes, we will provide reasonable notice, such as by posting updated Terms through FrameLab or on our website.

Your continued use of FrameLab after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
